Run Report

Announced at the circle up as a “Peas and Beans Run”, Haslemere generously accommodated NH4 for what turned out to be a fast and furious run across some familiar and less familiar territory near Wyck, high up above Neatham and Kingsley, and incorporating a path through Monk Wood. On Inn to the Three Horseshoes for some welcome refreshments in one of the prettiest beer gardens we’ve visited recently. Thanks Haslemere for a great ‘day out’.

Some Comments:

Dickhead: Very linear! Lots of dead crops because of all this dry weather over the last year! (Ed : we think the man should go to SpecSavers – the peas and barley were ready and waiting for harvest; the broad beans – or what was left of them by the time Nutcracker had picked her vegetable selection for supper - were green, erect and plentiful. Bunyards Exhibition, we understand. Or just cattle feed)

Ever Ready: Long straight and hard (too much information : Ed)

Funky Gibbon: Was, as Sting sings “FIELDS OF GOLD” , got lost

Headplant: Lovely run, lots of fields and forest

Kelinchi: Thanks for the great run. New territory for me &Pepper (dog!)

Little Prick: Thanks you for letting us come on your run

No Entry: Very uneven distribution of pheasants. Lovely scenery

Nutcracker: Great views + trail. Thank you

Prime 8: Got lost, cos can’t keep up (we know the feeling, Ed)

Silvier Fox: This was a great trail. Close for me, but still the trail laid surprised. Lovely countryside

Squiffy: Excellent, well marked trail in great location.

Thermal: NO COMMENT (as per)

Yellow Peril: Great, fast and furious run. Thoroughly enjoyable. Best beer garden for a while.

Yorkie: Rhubarb (as per)

Hash Hobbit: WOOF WOOF WOOF (means lovely, allegedly)

Machinist: (always good to see you : Ed)
